Malibu Makos Private Surf Lessons

The Malibu Makos Surf Club offers Private and Small Group Surf Lessons for up to four students per instructor. Board (s) and wetsuit (s) included in the cost. The Malibu Makos Surf Club offers private surfing lessons for all ages and ability levels. Surf lessons are offered by the hour. We are very hands on, professional and safety conscious in our instruction style. The 1st 10 minutes of the 1 hour surf lesson is spent  doing a "beach lesson" where you will learn paddling techniques for getting through the impact zone and catching waves, the pop up, the slide up and/or other techniques to get to your feet, proper foot placement, base and balance on the board, board control and how to turn, how to fall and protect your head and neck and most importantly how to enjoy on of the  most amazing activities! . If you have more than four (4) students please select Group Lessons.
